Chapter 32
"Glad you all could make it!" Okath chirped, grinning eerily at his guests. The five boys from the group were currently gathered in his room at the moment, having been called there earlier that evening by the ice elemental himself. Erick had brought his laptop as usual, and Benjamin had managed to find a corner to sit in by himself. Okath, Enrique, and Taru were sitting next to each other on Okath's bed, the latter two with curious expressions on their faces.
Erick paused in his typing for a moment and glanced up.
"Why are we here again?" he questioned, an eyebrow raised. He adjusted his glasses into a more comfortable position on his nose - they were a relatively recent addition to his face. Apparently, all of the laptop time hadn't been so good on his eyesight - after he started missing targets during practice, Mentor had forced him to see an eye doctor. Yet, for whatever reason, he continued to ruin his eyes with the glare from the computer screen.
It was a source of ridicule, if no

Chapter 31
It was odd, Okath noted, how Manager – like most everyone else, he had chosen a nickname for her other than Mentor – had staggered the assassinations. It made sense in some ways – it was easier to have her pick each elemental up one at a time.
However, for the elementals who had the misfortune of striking towards the end, it would make the missions harder. With the assassinations already well known, the security would be increased around those world leaders. It would have been easier, overall, to strike at once.
Plus, for a couple of days, he was completely alone in the isolated mansion Manager seemed to own. His mission had been the first of the nine, and Erick and Aimee had gone two days later. Even the girls, who went last for the most part, were out of the mansion for some reason of their loving manager. Okath didn’t pretend to know what they were doing in that dead time between training and their actual mission.
But all the same, being in a large, empty house w

Chapter 30
The compartment reserved for emergency parachutes in a private jet was surprisingly easy to sneak into, once the parachutes had been disposed of. It was also the perfect hiding place, assuming one could handle hiding in cramped spaces for long periods of time. No one apparently came by to check the compartment between flights, it was out of the way of the main cabin, and was left unlocked when the jet was sitting in its private hangar.
Unfortunately, it was rather uncomfortable.
She could only hope the plane would take off soon.
Meredith Tullman considered herself a rather lucky human being. She’d gotten to travel the world, and had gotten paid for it, all at the young age of 26. Sure, she was lacking a steady boyfriend. Not to say she hadn’t gotten… “together” with some men(and one woman) on a flight or two.
Some people found flight attendant-one-flight-stands exciting, somehow.
But really, she was happy being single. It gave her freedom - something her father

Chapter 29
Most people saw returning home as a good thing. Of course, there were the various issues with family, which could make a trip home more of a chore than a vacation. Other people also had traumatic experiences where they came from, and it was much better for mental health if they stayed away.
Keiko didn’t fall into either of these categories.
She had a decent relationship with her parents. They weren’t open with each other, but there also was no expectation to be. She knew they had their secrets, they knew she had hers. No one tried to pry. She tried to get on in life without their help, but she still saw their house as a safety net – somewhere she could return if she ever got into trouble. She saw her parents as a comforting sign.
And it wasn’t as if living in Tokyo had been a particularly horrible experience, either. She preferred travelling the world on a cruise ship, of course, and she enjoyed hanging out with the other elementals over her former companions –

Chapter 28
Blending in with the crowd had never been entirely hard for Alena. Of course, she wasn’t necessarily average-looking – she was extraordinarily pale, for one thing. Part of it was simply her natural complexion – she’d inherited blonde hair from her father, and their entire family had pale skin. Part of it was also due to the fact that she seemed to always keep light on herself. She wasn’t sure when it had happened – possibly during the six years she couldn’t remember.
But it was also her manipulation of light that helped her out. It was a simple matter to bend the light waves in such a way that, instead of light blonde, her hair appeared to be a medium-brown. Her skin could go from sheet white to as dark as Okath’s skin – though at the moment it was closer to Taru’s shade. It was the ultimate disguise. People relied on their eyes far too much.
Alena walked down a crowded street in India, dressed in the local garb. With her hair and skin

Chapter 27
The dictator of North Korea stood at the head of the table, staring at a few of the other world leaders gathered at the table. No leaders of major countries were really there, but it didn't matter. They were all under the command of the same leader, and he'd called them there about something. Said they were just going to have to wait. He didn't understand what the issue was. After all, he already knew that he was in danger of the many assassinations that were occurring worldwide – 4 already. He guessed that their collective master might be trying to protect them somehow.
But couldn't they do more good outside, with their armies at their disposal? They could just go ahead and bomb whatever enemies their master had, and be rid of them. Of course, no one really seemed to know where these enemies were hiding – not even their master. Then again, they weren’t even sure who these enemies were – simply that they were deadly enemies to face.
Their master said he had a spy in

Chapter 26
By all appearances, he was a student. A stupid, American high school student taking a tour among the great sites of Germany on a senior trip. He wasn't too concerned with fitting into the crowd - he was a year too old to be in high school, but the difference in appearance between 18 and 19 wasn't too terribly big.
Plus, as Iris enjoyed pointing out, he apparently acted like a five-year-old little girl, which would likely serve to even out the age difference there. He still didn't quite see the enjoyment that the girl received in making fun of him, but decided it was best not to ruin her fun.
Besides, sometimes her laughs had a rather melodic quality, if it were first possible to hear past the mocking tone that so often accompanied them. Not that he'd ever mention it to her. She'd either punch him in the face or continue to laugh, only with a slightly meaner edge to it. Both actions seemed to be things she was particularly fond of, after all, especially concerning him.
Benjamin sighed,

The Story - The Comic - Miscellaneous Art

Welcome to Repeat, a story and comic I'm working on in my spare time. I have an actual account - Teh-Stripe - this was made solely to house the comic pages and the chapters of the story. I hope you enjoy! x3

//Updates

09/16/08 - My interest is really starting to wane on this story. >.o People just don't seem that interested, and I can't scrounge up enough effort to finish the next chapter. I'm not quitting it, but for the time being, I suppose I'm on a bit of a hiatus...

08/08/08 - Geez, I haven't updated this journal since last year? That takes some doing. Anyways, the story's really starting to come into the rising aspect - the individual chapters are over, and the gang is soon going to start on a quest to find Mr. Evil's hide-out. I'm slowly starting on the comic version... VERY slowly, but all the same. Also, the account is about to reach 1,000 hits. If you get the 1,000 kiriban, then I will draw anything Repeat related, practically, assuming it isn't R-rated and such. Also, disregard the links at the top of the journal - they're rather useless at the moment.

12/15/07 - The Status Report is now functional, and the links for "Miscellaneous Art" and "The Story" are being updated.

12/01/07 - I finished the 50,000 words for the Repeat novel, Part 1. It isn't quite done yet, but I'll be uploading all the complete chapters today in order to catch everyone up. Progress will also go quite slower with the novel from now on, though more art-related stuff it bound to be posted.

A lot of people've asked me this. o-o

I only made a separate account because of the fact I don't like posting writing on an art site, and I figured if it was a supplement to an account instead of random pieces in my gallery, they'd have more meaning.

It's up to you, though.

I've got it worked out in that screwed up little brain of mine - I considered most of those questions myself when I was working out the plot. I know that, traditionally, there's only four basic elements, but I wanted to expand a bit because I had too many character ideas. Ice is actually cold, fire is heat, electricity is pure energy. I'll go into a better explanation of that later on(someone's bound to use their silly logic and bring it up.) Glad you like the story, though! x3
